The 2009 4th of July Fireworks Display in
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
These shots were made near the Cedars Floating Restaurant. I try to
take photographs away from the same locations
most crowds like to be. There were at least two hundred boats and many
thousands of people watching this display from the public beaches and buildings
on the water front. There were less than 20 people on the side of the lake
with me. If you look closely, you will notice many white lights along the
horizon. Each of those lights is a boat.

While not as colorful as many of the smaller ones, some of the last displays were huge. No doubt debris fill on some of the boats. |
